Slinkachu's captures photographs of tiny figures with a interesting background: from far away and up-close. He uses everyday objects and figurines to create a setting in which he is going to photograph. Slinkachu focuses on depth of field by using miniature figures against "normal" sized objects to create a striking image. Each photo gives out a different effect, he produces touching pictures. Slinkachu has gone global and is very successful, as well as bringing a book of his own out he even got to present his amazing work live in shows in places like London and new York.
I really like Slinkachu's work, I think it is original and creative. When I look at his work, all of his photos tell a story in a fun and unique way.
My work in the style of Slinkachu
First take
This was in my opinion one of my worst photo shoots as you cant really see what is going on in the shoot. Also the exposure is too small and the focus point was not in the right place.
This image inspired me and I wanted to create a shoot to replicate this one.
Second take
This picture is of where the image was taken and how it looked from a distance.
Best photograph
This is my most successful photo in the slinkachu project and also my favourite. I also like it because it is creative and tells a good story.
In my opinion I think the aperture, exposure and focus point is perfect and I am proud of the way I have captured the reflection of it all.

Third take
This is my first Slinkachu photograph which shows a women who has been killed by a a pen that has been smashed. This is my idea for my shoot which I will hopefully take outside. This photograph was taken inside due to heavy rain, I ran out of time creating the scene and could only take one photograph. However this needs improving because you can just see the blue tack that the character is on and you can see the blue tack that the pieces of pen is on. I will also use a large depth of field so the character on the left is in focus.
Fourth take
Best Photograph
This is the final photo from the plan above. I think the shoot went well as you can see what is going on in the photo. But you can see the blue tack that the Slinkachu character's are balancing on.
